330 stainless steel
330 stainless steel is an austenitic heat and corrosion resisting alloy that offers a combination of strength and resistance to carburization, oxidation and thermal shock. 330 stainless remains fully austenitic at all temperatures and is not subject to embrittlement from sigma formation.

330 stainless steel Welding
Grade 330 stainless steel can be welded using GAW techniques.
330 stainless steel Hot Working
Hot working of grade 330 stainless steel can be performed at 1149 to 1177°C (2100 to 2150°F).
330 stainless steel Cold Working
It is difficult to perform cold working in grade 330 stainless steel as the steel has high strength and work hardening rate. However, this steel can be cold worked using strong forces.
330 stainless steel Annealing
Grade 330 stainless steel can be annealed at 1121 to 1204°C (2050 to 2200°F).
330 stainless steel Hardening
Grade 330 stainless steel is unresponsive to heat treatment. It can be hardened only through cold reduction.
330 stainless steel Applications
The following are the major applications of grade 303 stainless steel:
330 stainless steel Gas turbines
Heat exchangers
General heat treating equipment
Neutral and cyanide salt pots
