No. 10 steel is delivered without heat treatment or heat treatment (annealing, normalizing or high temperature tempering). If the delivery is required to be delivered under heat treatment, it should be indicated in the contract, and if it is not specified, the No. 10 steel shall be delivered without heat treatment.

Chemical composition of No. 10 steel:
Carbon C: 0.07-0.14
Silicon Si: 0.17-0.37
Manganese Mn: 0.35-0.65
Sulfur S: ≤0.04
Phosphorus P: ≤0.35
Chromium Cr: ≤0.15
Nickel Ni: ≤0.25
Copper Cu: ≤0.25
Mechanical properties of No. 10 steel:
Tensile strength σb (MPa): ≥335
Yield strength σs (MPa): ≥205

Heat treatment specification: normalizing, 910℃, air cooling
Metallographic structure: ferrite + pearlite.
No. 10 steel can be used to manufacture parts that require low stress and high toughness, such as car bodies, receptacles, deep drawing vessels, pipes, gaskets, etc., and can be used for cold rolling, cold stamping, cold heading, cold bending, and hot forming.
