Pakistan launches first anti dumping sunset review on cold rolled steel plate related to China

On January 8, 2021, Pakistan's National Customs Commission issued the latest announcement of case No. 35 / 2015. In response to the application submitted by Pakistani enterprises Aisha Steel Mills Limited and International Steel Limited on November 30, 2020, it launched the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on cold rolled steel coils / sheets from China and Ukraine.

The Pakistan tax codes of the products involved are 7209.1610, 7209.1690, 7209.1710, 7209.1790, 7209.1810, 7209.1891, 7209.1899, 7209.2610, 7209.2690, 7209.2710, 7209.2790, 7209.2810 and 7209.2890. The investigation period of this case is from October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2020. The products involved were iron or non alloy cold rolled coil and flat rolled steel plate with a thickness of 0.15-2.50 mm and a width of more than 600 mm. The final ruling is expected to be made within 12 months of filing.
