Main Chinese spring steel grades and application

Grade 65 70 spring steel: It is used as circular and square spiral spring on general machine, wire drawing as small mechanical spring, and also as spiral spring of train carriage. It can also be used as cushion of car seat and interior decoration.

Grade 85 spring steel: Used as springs on railway vehicles, automobiles, tractors and general machinery, as well as steel wires for other purposes.

65Mn spring steel: It can be used as spring of larger size, spring ring, cold drawn wire and hairline, etc.

28MnSiB spring steel: Used extensively in agricultural machinery.

55SiMnVB spring steel: Its use is similar to 60Si2Mn steel.

60Si2Mn 60Si2MnA spring steel: It is widely used. It is used as leaf spring, spiral spring, check spring of vehicle and other important springs for high stress operation on vehicles, tractors and railway vehicles.

60Si2CrA spring steel: Large coil spring and leaf spring used for heavy load and important use.

60Si2CrVA spring steel: Used as spring for important and heavy loads.

55SiCrA 55CrMnA 60CrMnBA spring steel: It is used as heavy load and stress spring, such as truck, tractor, car leaf spring, and spiral spring with large diameter (50 mm).

50CrVA spring steel: It is used as a screw spring of various sizes which are especially important to bear large stress, and also important parts with large cross-section and working below 400℃. It is used as valve spring and internal combustion engine valve on engine.

30W4Cr2VA spring steel: Used as spring for working under high temperature 500℃.
