JIS G4305 SUS444 stainless steel feature
SUS444 (00Cr18Mo2) is an ultra-low carbon and nitrogen containing 18% chromium and 2% molybdenum, high corrosion resistance of ferritic stainless steel. The steel commonly used titanium or niobium stabilized, intergranular corrosion after welding can be avoided. Compared with austenitic stainless steel such as SUS304 and SUS316L, the biggest advantage is that the steel has excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, and corrosion resistance to chloride ion capacity of the steel is superior to SUS304, and SUS316L quite. Therefore, the steel is particularly suitable for a variety of water treatment devices.
