In the manufacturing process, controlling the inclusions and gas content in SG295 steel is the key to welding steel cylinders, and the purity of SG295 molten steel can be improved by taking the following steps:
Firstly, pretreatment of molten iron is carried out. By injecting magnesium powder, the sulfur content can be reduced, which provides the basis for subsequent converter slag-reducing refining;

The next step is converter smelting technology. Automated steelmaking can greatly improve the hit rate of SG295 molten steel composition and temperature. The billet adopts dynamic soft reduction technology to minimize segregation, porosity, shrinkage cavity, etc, and improve the solidification quality of the slab core.
